HKG Energy Awarded MassCEC/MassVentures DICES Grant to Accelerate Commercialization of Silicon Anode

SOMERVILLE, Mass. – August 2025 – HKG Energy Inc. (“HKG Energy” or the “Company”), a battery technology startup developing Terra Silicon™, today announced it has been selected for the Diversity in Cleantech – Early-Stage (DICES) Grant, awarded by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) and MassVentures. The Company is one of a highly competitive cohort chosen from numerous early-stage cleantech startups, receiving $75,000 in funding to advance its mission of bringing next-generation silicon anode technology from the laboratory to commercial markets.

 

The grant represents a significant milestone in HKG Energy’s mission to advance next-generation silicon anode technology from the laboratory to commercial markets. By enabling longer driving range, faster charging, and more sustainable batteries, Terra Silicon™ is poised to support the clean energy transition across electric vehicles, aviation, robotics, and energy storage.
